Advanced Hand Surgery Care

Hand surgery treats conditions that affect the nerves, tendons, ligaments, joints, and bones of the upper extremity. Because the hand are essential for almost every daily activity, our goal is to restore function, reduce pain, and help you return to your active lifestyle.

Wrist Anatomy & Complexity

The wrist is one of the most complex joints in the body and consists of several joints, multiple bones, and soft tissue that work together to create movement. The bones include the Proximal carpals (a row of bones closest to the forearm), and the Distal carpals (a row of bones closer to the fingers). The joints vary in type and motion, including the distal radioulnar joint, the radiocarpal joint, the midcarpal joint, and the carpometacarpal joints.

Integrated Rehabilitation

Recovery is closely coordinated with our specialized Occupational Therapy and Hand Therapy services. Post-operative care focuses on restoring motion, grip strength, and fine motor control through personalized strengthening programs and guidance on returning to work and sports.
