What this program does
Osteoporosis is more than “thin bones”, it’s a condition that raises the risk of serious fractures in the hip, spine, wrist, and shoulder. Our program identifies your true fracture risk and delivers a targeted strategy to rebuild bone, improve balance, and protect your independence.
Who this may help
- Women in peri- or post-menopause
- Men with age-related bone loss or low testosterone
- Anyone with osteopenia/osteoporosis on DEXA
- Patients with a prior fragility fracture or long-term steroid use
- Active adults with recurrent stress injuries
Your evaluation
- Comprehensive history, fall-risk and medication review
- DEXA bone-density scan with FRAX fracture-risk score
- Labs: vitamin D, calcium, thyroid, sex hormones (as indicated)
- Lifestyle, nutrition, and strength/balance screening
Your evaluation
- Bone-building activity: bone-safe strength training, impact progressions, posture & balance work
- Nutrition: optimized protein, vitamin D, and calcium intake; alcohol/smoking counseling
- Medications (when needed): bisphosphonates, denosumab, teriparatide/abaloparatide, romosozumab selected by your orthopedic provider based on risk and goals
- Fall prevention: home-safety tips, vision/footwear review, assistive device coaching
- Integrated rehab: on-site Physical Therapy for spine alignment, hip stability, and gait training

- Repeat DEXA per guidelines to track progress
- Ongoing coordination with your surgeon, PT, and (when appropriate) hormone-therapy team
